Chinese Art (Private Collection)

The online auction house Catawiki has an exclusive sale this September, offering the private collection of William Martindale, a dealer in fine Chinese ceramics and works of art. The auction consists of carefully selected pieces, including a fine Imperial incised yellow-ground and aubergine and green enamelled ‘dragon’ dish and a copper-red glazed compressed bottle vase with a Qianlong seal mark and of the period (1736-1795. Alongside the ceramic lots on offer, there is a good selection of jade and bronze works of art.
