Japanese Art Auction

The online auction house Catawiki has a weekly Japanese art sales that offer a range of objects ranging from Japanese ceramics to prints and other works of art. This week’s auction highlights include a large stoneware censer in the shape of a life-size eagle standing on a rock and an early circa 1930-1940, Showa period (1926-1989). Alongside these objects, there is also a selection of lacquerware, Japanese folding screens (byobu), and furniture.

The sale runs from Friday 25 September to Sunday 4 October, 2020, until 20.00 CET.
